Remote exam

Access Duration

Once registered, participants will have 3 months of access to the platform. During this period, they must complete and pass both the theoretical and practical evaluations.
It is recommended to be well-prepared before registering, as participants will already have knowledge of the required works.

Theoretical Evaluation

This evaluation covers all theoretical aspects of the course. The exam format includes multiple-choice and true/false questions. A score of 75% or higher is needed to pass.

  • Number of questions: 147
  • Maximum time: 90 minutes

Participants must answer 147 questions within a maximum of 90 minutes. The exam will automatically end once the time limit is reached. To pass, a minimum score of 268 out of 357 points is required.

It is advised to take the exam using a computer.

Retake Policy

If the initial attempt is not passed, participants will have only one retake attempt within the platform.
If the retake is also unsuccessful, participants must re-register at a later date.

PRACTICAL WORKS

Participants who pass the theoretical exam will be eligible to submit the practical works. The practical exam consists of two (2) works:

Practical Work 1 (PW1)

Record a video on the court demonstrating:

  • Ball feeding techniques, using both hand throws and the ball basket.
    • Quantitative: Achieving a minimum number of accurate feeds to designated spots.
    • Qualitative: Assessing ball feeding technique based on course concepts. The assessment will consider not only accuracy but also technical aspects.
  • Basic ball control exercises with a student, showcasing:
    • Wall play in parallel and cross-court scenarios.
    • Defense of volleys and lobs.
    • Net play with volleys and overhead shots.

Practical Work 2 (PW2)

Record a video on the court demonstrating:

  • Stroke technique, feeding balls to yourself to demonstrate correct form. (Max 5 minutes)
  • Footwork techniques. (Max 5 minutes)

Important Notes:

  • The works are correlative: PW1 must be approved before submitting PW2.
  • For both works, participants will have access to instructional videos detailing requirements and self-evaluation sheets for practice.

PRACTICAL FINAL EXAM (PFE)

To qualify for the PFE, participants must have successfully completed both Practical Works (PW1 and PW2). Once these are approved, the administration will assign the specific topic to be covered in the PFE.

Requirements:

  • Submit a video of a one-on-one lesson with a student focused on one of the assigned topics. (Max 8 minutes)
  • Submit a video of a group lesson with four students, demonstrating class management skills using rotations, stations, and shadowing techniques. (Max 5 minutes)

Key Guidelines for the Practical Final Exam:

  • The exam must be recorded continuously on the court, without any editing or cutting.
  • All instructions given by the instructor should be clearly audible.
  • After submitting the videos, participants will receive a report with their results.
